India’s Best Educational

Bangalore was established in 1537 by Hiriya Kempe Gowda, a feudal ruler under the Vijayanagara Empire. Since then much water has flowed under the bridge. Bangalore is now one of finest cities in India that thrives in business round the clock. It's the capital of the Indian state Karnataka. The city is synonymous with many marvels. For instance, the city boasts of its IT business, medical services, education, and medical tourism among others.

Bangalore was officially renamed Bengaluru in the year 2006. You may be surprised to know that the city is a preferred destination for education among the students across the states of India as well as the foreigners who come to study in India.

Why is Bangalore a preferred destination for education?

The state Karnataka is considered as the education hub in India since migrants from all over the states of India prefer to pursue higher studies here especially in Bangalore. Interestingly, most of the students who migrate here are from the states like Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh. Around 1.8 lakh students migrate to Karnataka every year for pursuing the higher studies. Though Manipal attracts a lot of students among them, still Bangalore is a favoured destination in view of the following.

Modern living: Since its birth, the City of Bangalore has evolved with the time and it is now considered at par with the global standard. Having said that, we mean the city has sprawling parks, good markets, and the opportunities for recreation and entertainment. At the same time, the city provides 24x7 water and electric supply that still is a cause of worry to some of the biggest cities in India. Besides, students have opportunities to stay in a good number of rented luxury as well as budget accommodations and the college/university hostels. In short, students can pursue their studies without any major encumbrance.

Infrastructure: This is yet another aspect that students look at before swooping down to the city. The city is well connected by Metro rail and roads. The best part is that Metro network is undergoing expansion to include new residential areas including those in the suburbs of Bangalore.

Easy admission: Students find it easy to take admission in the colleges and universities of Bangalore compared to the other cities in India like Delhi. As a matter of fact, students make a beeline here for higher education.

Top institutions: Bangalore is an IT hub and thus, it has many world-class institutions on diverse disciplines such as engineering, management, humanities, law and others for the purpose of higher studies. Some of the best known institutions are Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Science, Manipal University, Symbiosis International University, Visvesvaraya Technological University, ISBR Business School, St. Hopkins College, and Swiss Graduate School of Management to name a few.

Suitable weather condition: The yearly average temperature roves around 30-degree Celsius and the lowest is 23-degree Celsius in December. On top of it, the city receives a good rain every year. River Arkavati (a tributary of the River Kaveri) and a small river named River Vrishabhavathi are flowing to the south of the city and thus, they make the city an ecologically balanced place for living. In other words, the congenial weather condition makes the City of Bangalore is an ideal place to be for higher studies.

Safety and security: While pursuing higher studies in a city away from one's hometown, safety and security concerns come at the first place. Compared to the other states of India and some cities in particular, students and their parents prefer Bangalore over others since the people here are more receptive. Hence, pursuing a higher study in Bangalore seems to be a unanimous choice both for the student and his/her family.

Employability: After the college or the university education, students step into the real world where employment opportunity in a city takes the centre stage. Being the IT hub and the headquarter for many other allied industries, the city offers a unique opportunity of employment to the students befitting their skill sets and background.
